The Second China Sports Flooring Conference and High-Quality Development Forum for Wooden Sports Equipment were grandly held in Beijing on November 1. This conference was organized by the Sports Flooring Committee of the China Wood Protection Industry Association. Distinguished guests present at the event included Liu Nengwen, President of the China Wood Protection Industry Association; Lv Guixin, Chief Inspector of the Raw Materials Industry Department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; and Feng Jiaping, former Chief Engineer of the National Forestry Administration and Executive Vice President of the China Forestry Industry Federation. Su Zuyun, Deputy Director General of the Reform and Development Department at the State Forestry and Grassland Administration, sent a congratulatory video for the conference.
Participants included experts from research institutes specializing in sports wooden flooring, quality inspection centers, leaders of national sports flooring brand enterprises, and personnel from the sports flooring industry, as well as representatives from primary and secondary schools, and university sports departments.
The theme of this conference was "Upholding Tradition, Innovating for Quality and Efficiency." The main objectives were to strengthen the integration of the upstream and downstream industry chains, promote the application of new products and technologies, publicize and endorse enterprises meeting the required standards and exemplary projects of high quality, and drive the high-quality development of the sports flooring and wooden sports equipment industry.
The conference provided interpretations of standards such as GB/T20239-2023 "Wooden Flooring for Sports Venues," implemented in October this year. It also analyzed the current status and future development trends of China's sports wooden flooring industry.
